Forgotten
Scratch my name off the wall, no one hears me when I scream,
Nameless voiceless in person, silent like a dissipating dream.
No memories of the past that clouds, silver linings and false dreams.
Left alone in the cold. Is darkness my sole reward?
Visions to grasp the dream still beckoning.
No one sees those who are forgotten.
Surrounded by those who have preceded me.
All that remains forever forgotten.
Shed! No! Tears! No one remembers.
Silent! World! Defy! I will live on.
No one cares for the lost, eventual weakness that’s perceived.
Only the strong survive, amongst the silence of grief.
Tears at the heart within, the fallen dare not speak.
Memories of centuries lost, and the darkness that dictates.
Visions to grasp the dream still beckoning.
No one sees those who are forgotten.
Surrounded by those who have preceeded me.
All that remains forever forgotten.
No one! Nothing! I can see all I’ll be.
Lost in time forever seeking destiny.
Twisted fate, another nameless parody.
Dark becoming, forgotten is all I’ll ever be.
Shed! No! Tears! No one remembers.
Silent! World! Defy! I will live on.
Silent surrounding pain, to me nothing else is clear.
Dust and cobwebs suffocate in this abandoned shallow grave.
A book of names reverberates but where’s mine to be found.
Lost in foreboding darkened flames, forgotten ones of old.
Visions to grasp the dream still beckoning.
No one sees those who are forgotten.
Surrounded by those who have preceded me.
All that remains forever forgotten.
